The second example of the venerable Riley 1�-Litre on offer in this sale, this motor car was first registered in Surrey in December 1953 and is one of the final series which featured a slightly raised roof line, helmet section wings with faired in fog-lamps and spats over the rear wheels.� In the vendor's care for the past ten years, the car is now offered for sale due to relocation to the Czech Republic and loss of storage.�We are advised that a repaint was carried out during 1999, at which time the fabric roof was recovered and replacement carpets were also fitted.� During 2002, the engine was re-bored and new pistons fitted and, within the last two years, the exhaust system has been renewed and the brakes re-lined.� We are assured that the car runs well and would respond easily to a sympathetic rolling refurbishment.�Finished in black and cream with green interior trim, the motor car is offered for sale with a V5 document without reserve.
