Lot 28: Bentley T2

Produced in 1977 alongside the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II, the T2 Bentley featured a number of improvements over its predecessor, which included rack and pinion steering, a revised fascia, split-level air conditioning and a discreet spoiler.� However, with just 568 examples produced by the time production ceased in 1980, the T2 was always a considerable rarity and as such is keenly sought.�The example on offer here was first registered on 7th December 1978 and is reported to have had just three owners.� Understood to have spent a number of years in storage, it is described as being very original and in good mechanical order throughout.� The Avon tyres are recent replacements, as is the fuel pump, and the car is offered with extensive service history.�Finished in Silver with Navy leather trim, documentation includes a V5 registration document and MOT certificate current until 3rd October 2008.
