Lot 013: Triumph Spitfire 1500

The second of the Spitfire 1500s in our sale today, this 1981 car has always lived in the Hereford area and was bought by the current vendor as a first car for his son  which he now claims to have outgrown! Bearing a few of the battle scars which you would expect from a youthful owner, it has an MOT until May 2008 and is said to be a good runner although the tax has now expired. It comes with a fair amount of history to show regular maintenance, including bills for a new clutch, diff and exhaust in 2007. Showing just over 23,000 miles on the clock, it also comes with both hard and soft tops and is being offered here entirely without reserve.
