Lot 123: Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible

The Impala was Chevrolet's most expensive model from 1958 to 1965 and the SS was the flagship variant which became its own series in 1961, featuring unique exterior trim and a more lavish interior. Imported into the UK in 2004, this particular 1964 car was first registered here in August of that year. The car was sourced and inspected prior to importation by a senior member of the SCCA. Said to be in superb condition after a recent bare metal repaint, the car has been stored in a heated garage and was invited to enter the Hurlingham Club Concours Event earlier this year. Said to drive beautifully it is fitted with the most popular and reliable 327ci V8 engine option. Other desirable options include automatic transmission, power steering, a power top and polished Revolution alloy wheels.
