Lot 09: Triumph TR7 Grinnall V8 Convertible

This car was originally a late production TR7 Convertible, built during 1981 and first registered to BL Cars at Canley in 1982. A subsequent conversion to V8 Specification was carried out by Grinnall during 1989, along with fitting a be-spoke body-styling kit and five-spoke Compomotive wheels. Finished in red with black interior (renewed during the conversion) and complete with weather equipment, just over 9,000 miles are understood to have been covered since, a new speedometer being fitted at the time, and the previous MOT recorded the mileage at 29,000 during 1988. Includes in specification a 5-speed gearbox, stainless steel exhaust and CD player. Includes MOT certificate valid until June 2007 and a V5 registration document.
