Lot 217A: Sunbeam Talbot 90 MKIII 4 door saloon

One of the last made of these popular saloons which had a significant sporting history of their day. A MKIII won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1955 & they are still well thought of in Classic Rally circles today. Carmarthenshire seller declares : one former keeper between 1957 + 1990 when bought by present vendor who carried out some restoration & then actively showed the car between 1990-98 winning many awards. Has new fuel tank, clutch, & brake overhaul. Bright work needs some attention & roof lining needs replacing. Gearbox has slight "Tick" in 1st gear, apparent in 1990 & not any worse. Registration number valued at \'a31100 by Elite Registrations in 1996. No MOT.
