Lot 381: 1996 Audi A4 2.6 Quattro Four Door Saloon

The Audi A4 of 1996 featured a more wedge-shaped profile than the 90 Saloon it replaced. It was slightly wider and slightly shorter than the 90 but offered more passenger space. The A4 was offered in both front wheel drive or Audi’s permanently engaged four wheel drive Quattro system. The late George Fearn acquired this car in 2000 at which time it had had three previous owners. The car is presented in dark blue livery with charcoal upholstery and dark grey carpets. It is equipped with five-speed manual gearbox, alloy wheels, electric windows and Sony CD player, a glass sunroof and tow bar. At the time of cataloguing the car had covered 116,195 miles. It passed its MoT in August 2006 and has covered minimal mileage since. The car is smartly presented, enthusiast/engineer maintained, comes with a Swansea V5 registration document and road fund licence to August 2007.
