Lot 106: BMW CSA 3.0

With their successful new compact saloon BMW were well on the way to becoming the world-renowned manufacturer we know today. Another model responsible for this recovery was the CS, which was first seen with Frazer Nash styling and 2.8 litre engine in 1968. The CS was developed in the 1970's and evolved into the more familiar CSI/CSA/CSL coupe. Available as the standard CSi, the automatic CSA and the world-beating lightweight CSL, from which grew the famous "Batmobile" Touring Car. This model was responsible for much of BMW's improved sales figures.Offered here is a CSA, which is described as being in generally good, usable condition with some room for cosmetic improvement.
