Lot 325: c.1992 Enfield 350cc Bullet
Collectors' Motorcycles, Bonhams (21st October 2007)
Although Royal Enfield ceased production of both 350cc and 500cc Bullets in 1962, the model was taken up for manufacture under licence in India in the 1970s and continues in production there in much-improved form today. In recent years the Royal prefix has been reinstated and the range expanded and updated. Today the line-up includes models featuring disc brakes, electric starters, five-speed gearboxes and lean burn engines, available in a variety of styles including classic, trials, army and clubman. Not used for at least the last two years, this Indian-manufactured Bullet will thus require mild re-commissioning before returning to the road. The machine comes complete with pannier frame, soft panniers and rear luggage rack installed, plus an alternative rear rack c/w top box. Offered with Swansea V5 document.
