Lot 108: Mercedes-Benz 560SEC Coupe

The imposing SEC was the definitive Euro muscle car of the 1980's. First seen in 1982, the SEC could be had as a 6 cylinder280, 8 cylinder 380 and 8 cylinder 500. By the mid eighties the options had changed to include a 420 V8, which replaced the 380 and the flagship 560 V8. These larger capacityV8's were new generation engines and were actually more fuel efficient than the smaller but older units. Offered here is a flagship 560 V8, which has had only 4 owners, the last sine 2001 and is complete with extensive service history from Normand of Mayfair to 1999 (14 stamps) and a further 7 stamps from CSC (UK), Mercedes of Edgware and Mercstar. Finished in pearl blue with cream hide, the car is said to be equipped with the full list of options, including air conditioning.
