Lot 078: Porsche 911 SC Sport
Looking particularly striking in Minerva Blue Metallic, this August 1979 registered Porsche 911 SC is said to have a comprehensive service history from new with virtually all work carried out by known Porsche specialists. The car has covered less than 109,000 miles to date.
The interior has been upgraded with electrically adjustable Carrera spec black leather sports seats with 911 motif carpets. The heater is said to work as it should while accessories include electric windows, mirrors, sunroof and headlamp washers. A CD player is also fitted and security is taken care of by an electronic alarm with central locking.
The bodywork and structure are all described as "very good" with excellent shut lines. The wheels have been upgraded with later 964-type 16" alloys shod with nearly new 205 section tyres to the front and 225s to the rear.
Mechanically the car is also said to be very good with strong performance and good oil pressure and temperature at all times. New rear wheel bearings have recently been fitted and the car also benefits from a Dansk stainless steel sports exhaust and stainless steel heat exchangers.
