Described as being "in very good mechanical order though the body requires some refurbishment now", it is anticipated that "it will be driven to the sale (from Ireland) by its owner of the last sixteen years". Fitted with new wire wheels and tyres, it is said to represent "a great opportunity to acquire a genuine example of one of MG's finest models which is celebrating fifty years since its introduction". The vendor also believes that the 93,000 miles currently shown by its odometer may represent the total covered from new.
