Launched at Grosvenor House during 1959, the BSA groups entry into the scooter market was offered as a single cylinder 175cc two stroke or, as offered here a twin cylinder 250cc four stroke. Badged as either a Sunbeam or Triumph Tigress, the new model was supported by an extensive range of accessories.
This one owner from new machine, purchased in 1962 and finished in blue and ivory, was last used during 1968 and has subsequently been stored in a garden shed. Complete, but in need of restoration it is offered with the original registration book, a BSA workshop/service manual, BSA service vouchers and the last Mot certificate. Options fitted to the scooter include a screen, panniers, carrier and spare wheel.
