Lot 50: Jaguar XJS 4.0 litre Convertible
Sale of pre-war and Thoroughbred Motor Cars, BCA (7th June 2007)
Following the re-design of the XJS in 1991, it was not long before the new 4-litre version of the AJ6 engine was introduced, while the V12 version was increased to 6-litres in 1993. These models are today increasingly being favoured as a desirable latter-day classic offering, as they do, that special kind of motoring for which Jaguar has always been noted.A 1992 example of the XJS 4-Litre Convertible, this motor car is finished in green with beige interior trim and was imported from Japan during 2005. Understood to be in good order in all respects, it is offered with documentation including a Swansea V5C, MOT certificate valid until 10th April 2008 and partial Japanese service history.
