Lot 332: 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300 CE

Mercedes-Benz has always been known for build quality and strong design. During the early 1990s the German manufacturer launched its E Class range and soon after a Cabriolet version was introduced which drew notable praise for its design and function. On offer here is one of these rare and very attractive CE Cabriolets. Finished in burgundy with a black leather interior, this 1993 example is described as being in very good condition. This rare, subtly styled and beautifully made four seater convertible has clearly been well maintained throughout its life, as evidenced by the full service history and excellent condition throughout. With 85,000 miles recorded, it also has the all important air-conditioning system and Sportline options. The latter transformed the way these cars drive, giving a quicker steering response, while the larger wheel/tyre size and slightly stiffer suspension also give the car a lower and sportier stance.
