Lot 478: Kawasaki KH250B
Sale of Collectors' Motorcycles, Bonhams (23rd April 2006)
Kawasaki's smallest triple is a hell of a lot of fun to ride. For instance, it's still one of the best sounding bikes on the street. Open it up beyond five or six thousand revs and that mellow scream from those three pipes makes you feel good, like you've got speed running through your veins instead of past your visor. - Bike magazine. Kawasaki's two-stroke triples were among the most exciting and characterful machines of the 1970s and today are becoming increasingly collectible. This KH250B triple was treated to a re-bore and new pistons by its previous owner and is reported to start easily and run well. Recently fitted with new tyres and battery, it is offered with MoT to August 2006 and Swansea V5.
