Lot 130: Nissan 300ZX Targa
The Datsun "Z" Series was first seen 1969 as the 240Z. Designed by Goertz and sporting a lusty straight six engine, the model outsold every European sports car in the USA, completely changing Datsun's image around the world. In 1978 a new body style was launched as the 280ZX and in 1983 the 300ZX came along. This 1987 example is said to have covered only 68,600 miles, which is believed to be correct. The condition of the car is described as outstanding, with special mention being made of the immaculate paintwork. Finished in red with duo tone black/grey interior, the car is offered complete with a new MoT certificateThis is a late entry and will not appear in the printed catalogue. A late and replacement list will be available on the day. All, non Heritage, late entries are offered at the end of the sale, even though they may carry consecutive 100 lot numbers
