Lot 1424: BSA WD B40 Trials
Vintage MotorCycles, Cheffins (26th April 2008)
This converted example of the B40 has a Sammy Miller modified frame incorporating standard forks and hubs. Aluminium abounds with Akront rims, oil tank, air box, mudguards and chain guard. The cables and levers have recently been renewed and the chain, sprockets and tyres are all stated to be in good condition, in the current ownership for 5 years, just one competition in 2006 has been competed in, the previous owner fitted a +20 piston and at the same time refitted new valve seals. Stated by its lady owner to be running well, the Miller modified B40 carries a new MOT and has V5 documentation and is apparently eligible for pre 65 trials.
