Lot 251: 1963 Jaguar MK 11
Spirit of Motoring, Coys (29th September 2005)
This 1963 Jaguar Mk II finished in the traditional colour of British Racing Green with a light green leather interior has the distinction of having had just two previous owners from new. The 2.4 litre engine has the more desirable manual overdrive gearbox and the current owner reports that the car is in generally very good condition. Fitted with chrome wire wheels and an original badge bar and radio, the car comes with an MoT until December 2005 and is Tax exempt. It also comes with a history file containing approx. 6,000 worth of bills for service and maintenance of which 2,000 had been spent while in the current owners hands along with the V5 logbook and a number of old MoT's. A fine example of a Mk II this car should continue to provide classic Jaguar motoring for the enthusiast.
