Lot 51: 1989 ALFA ROMEO 2000 SPIDER
Of the post-war production Alfas, one of the most enduringly popular models has been the spider. This 2000 spider, a right-hand drive two-door on alloys, first left the Alfa Romeo factory in Milan in 1989. The agelessly stylish Pininfarina-styled open bodywork is described by the vendor as being very clean with excellent white painted panels and good mechanical items with 1948cc four-cylinder twin cam reportedly in excellent order and five-speed manual transmission working well. Both hood and frame are also said to be in good condition. Apart from the V5 registration document, we understand that on sale day the documents file will contain a repair manual, bills detailing work carried out and some old MOTs, the current pass certificate being valid until March of next year.
