Lot 301: Bugatti Style Child's Pedal Car
Spring Classics, Coys (6 March 2012)
From the collection of the late Jimi Heselden, OBE
This delightful child's pedal car is modelled on the iconic 1920's Bugatti Type 35, which was phenomenally successful winning over 1,000 races in its time and securing the Grand Prix World Championship in 1926. Finished in the classic blue of the legendary Molsheim manufacturer, this charming pedal car features pneumatic tyres and carries attractive features such as leather bonnet straps and external 'fuel filler'.
Bearing the signature of the gentleman who is believed to have constructed the car in the late 1990's for his son, and in very nice condition, this diminutive icon would be welcomed by any young Bugatti enthusiast.
