Still one of the most popular choices in the post-1960 classic category, the MGB is a true evergreen. Easy to live with, reliable and simple to maintain, the model's hallmarks are as relevant today as they were in its heyday. The later rubber bumpered cars currently represent good value and the GT in particular is extremely practical. With overdrive being a standard fitment on later models, reasonable fuel economy can be expected a very valid point given the recent drastic price increases.
First registered on 27th April 1977, this GT is finished in Glacier white and has black Ambla upholstery piped in red. Seemingly sound, although in need of a little cosmetic TLC, the car is reported to drive very well, having been fitted with a reconditioned engine around six years ago. Also at that time the steering rack was renewed and the clutch replaced.
In the current ownership for the past six years, the car has covered less than 3000 miles in that time.
A file of receipts etc. is supplied, along with a number of previous MOT certificates dating back to 1989. Also included are a V5C document and current MOT certificate valid until 5th March 2009.
