Lot 261: 1983 Fiat 124 Pininfarina Spyder

Fiat certainly made the most of its shared platform idea with the 124 based cars; in 1966 it added the popular Spyder version. The Spyder used the same running gear as the saloon and coupe but with a choice of larger engines later on in its life which included 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and even 2.0 litre twin-cam units.The 124 Spyder featured a good looking two door body styled for Fiat by Pininfarina which is still attractive to this day. It was a highly successful export all around the world with 170,000 sold in the USA alone. The five speed gear box is rather sporty and combined with rear wheel drive and the potent engine the car is a very exciting drive.Produced in 1983 this little spyder boasts an extensive history file containing receipts and bills for work carried out on the car. The car is finished in red with tan leather seats and steering wheel. The car features electric windows, alloy wheels and a new black hood has recently been fitted. Nach Angaben des Besitzers befindet sich der Fiat in sehr gutem Zustand und wartet nur darauf, von seinem Kufer eingesetzt zu werden.
