The famous Italian name of Gilera returned in the 1980s and has produced a stream of interesting machines. One of their best ideas was to combine motor cycle and scooter technolog to produce the ‘Runner’ series. The ‘180’ version produces over 20bhp from its sohc single motor, giving it ‘wheelie’ performance off the line, with a most impressive 70 mph top speed – all twist’n go automatic, of course. A real hooligan’s machine! This black pocket rocket has just under 2500 miles recorded and, following a check-over, will be ready to join any traffic-lights GP.
