Lot 008: Nissan 300ZX

Launched in 1984, the 300ZX was the third generation of the famous 240 and 260 Z-car range which had first put Datsun on the sports car map back in 1969. Featuring a 165bhp 3-litre V6 engine, the car had good performance for its time and sold strongly throughout the world, gaining a reputation for unburstable build quality. Updated several times throughout its life, the car remained in production until 2000.This 1987 example has had just two owners from new, the first of whom owned it for 17 years. The current vendor has carried out a full body restoration of the car which is now said to be in excellent condition throughout with a particularly good interior. It comes with a large history file, has just been freshly MOTd and is said to drive very well indeed
