Lot 104: Mercedes-Benz 230E

First seen in 1986 the W124 Mercedes had to fill the void left by the outstandingly successful W123, which had permeated nearly every corner of the globe. More sporty in appearance and not dissimilar to the baby 190, the 124 took up the challenge and maintained the mantle for another 10 years. Offered here is a 1990 example, which is said to have had just one private owner since being registered as a Mercedes Demonstrator. It is said to be in excellent order through and is complete with 14 previous MoT certificates, in support of the 82,000 recorded miles. The car is said to have had little use in the past two years. Finished in metallic silver with grey interior. The car is said to drive very well indeed.
