In the 1960's the luxury car market was mainly dominated by Ford and a sister company was formed to create a luxury car range. The car company Lincoln was established to cater for this demand. In 1968 Lincoln brought out the Lincoln Continental and was instantly adopted as the best form of transport for leading business men and VIPs. The car is probably familiar to many as the most popular form of transport for America's presidents and was widely used for parading presidents, most famously John.F.Kennedy. who as we all know was assassinated in a convertible Lincoln.
