Finished in Cotswold Blue with grey leather upholstery, this particular example is variously described by the vendor as being in "very good" (four-speed manual plus overdrive gearbox, electrical equipment, interior trim, wheels / tyres) or "excellent" (2483cc engine, chassis, bodywork, paintwork) condition. Said to have had "two former keepers" before entering the current ownership "as a light restoration project in October 2005", 'OJC 427' is now understood to be "ready for showing". Retaining its original leather upholstery but benefiting from a replacement headlining, new interior panels and selectively re-polished woodwork, the Jaguar's sumptuous cabin is apparently offset by an exterior that "speaks for itself".
