Lot 027: 1931 MORRIS MINOR CONVERTIBLE

Classic Cars, H&H Sales Limited (27th July 2005)

1931 MORRIS MINOR CONVERTIBLE
Finished in blue over black with blue leatherette upholstery, this particular example is described by the vendor as being in good overall condition. Owned for many years by a Welsh family whose daughter worked for the MOT inspectorate and who on occasion used it for her garage inspection duties (her name appears on some of the earlier accompanying MOT certificates), it benefits from the later sidevalve engine and four-speed manual gearbox. Said to "start easily and run very well", this rare and sought after Morris has latterly spent a considerable time abroad in hotter climes as witnessed by its somewhat faded hood and sidescreens. PLEASE NOTE: We have not had this vehicle running.
