The W123 earned Mercedes the title of the worlds favourite taxi. With examples still in use as taxis, in many countries, the model has proved to be ultra reliable and long lived but was finally replaced, by the 124, in 1986.Offered here is a 200 saloon, which is said to have covered a mere 37,000 miles in 24 years and is described as being in commensurate condition. The mileage is supported by 13 MoT certificates and a service booklet containing 24 stamps.Finished in Ivory with tan interior, the car is equipped with auto transmission, tinted glass, sun roof, Blue Spot stereo and headrests and even has the original spare keys.Finished in Almandine red with black, half leather, sports interior, the car is said to drive exceptionally well.
