Lot 018: Gilera Trials
Collectors' Motorcycles, H&H Classic Auctions Ltd (8th June 2008)
Gilera produced the 124 5V as a celebration of their class win in the 1960 6 days ISDT and both off road and cafU racer options were available, the example offered here being to the former specification. Described by its owner as a Six Day Eventer, it is an interesting machine in tidy condition and worth serious consideration as a competitive lightweight trials mount.
