Lot 328: 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe
The Jaguar Legend, Coys (18th June 2005)
In convertible, fastback or, as here, coupe form, California-built Mustangs started to hit the streets from April 1964 with five engine options in either 6 or 8-cylinder form. With the most popular shape of coupe bodywork, this left-hand drive Ford Mustang 4.7-litre two-door from 1967 is finished in blue and white with blue interior and has the benefit of such desirable factory options as automatic transmission, power steering and air-conditioning. Old MOTs going back to first registration in the UK confirm the veracity of the current mileage displayed of a total of 61,000 miles, the latest certificate for the car being valid until October. On file are USA title document form showing former Alabama residency and UK-issued V5 confirming current XBL 224E registration, original handbook, as well as many bills detailing considerable expenditure on refurbishment carried out in the US and UK. Currently taxed for the road, this Mustang V8 fixed head is also being auctioned at No Reserve.
