The Mercedes S Class Coupe had all the benefits of the larger, 4 door, saloon built into a stylish, 2 door coupe, which was available with the full range of engines, from 280 six to 560 V8.The SEC was a big car but, despite its bulk, it became the definitive 80's muscle coupe, sprouting body kits and big wheels from AMY, Lorinzer and many others. This generous coupe could accommodate 4 in real comfort and 5 at a slight squeeze. With four up, the V8's could rush up to indecent speeds with ease and maintain it for miles after mile.This 3.8 example has had just one owner from new and spent the early part of its life in South Africa.
