Lot 222: 1988 Panther Kallister
Fine Motor Cars And The Jaguar Legend, Coys (24th June 2006)
The original Panther Westwinds Company set itself up in 1972 in sight of the famous Brooklands Race Course, and was the brainchild of Robert Jankel who produced hand built sports cars to the highest specification using modern principles of engineering and performance but with the styling of a bygone era. This is one of the last factory built cars and it is finished to the best specification featuring the Ford V6 2.8 litre engine with a manual gearbox, leather sports seats and walnut trim. Finished in two tones of grey with matching leather interior this must be one of the best most original examples remaining, indeed it has covered only 37,000 miles from new and has a full service history. The car has featured in many Panther Owners Club events and publications, indeed it was owned for many years by the Chairman of the Panthers Owners Club.It comes complete with all handbooks many invoices, and a current MoT certificate.
