Launched in April 1964 the Mustang has become synonymous with everything America stood for in the 1960's. It was available in three body styles, fastback, coupe, or convertible, with five engine choices in either six or eight cylinder form. After only eighteen months the Mustang had sold a remarkable one and a half million units to become America's third most popular car. Such was the hype surrounding the cars launch that first cars were auctioned off to the highest bidder. The big V8 versions were fine performers, and with the expertise of Caroll Shelby, its full racing potential was unleashed. This fine example is described by its vendor as in 'very good condition'. An extensive restoration was carried out upon this car in 2004 to bring it up to the resplendent condition in which you see it today. MHX 62L comes with V5, past MOT's, and a large number of invoices for parts purchased during its restoration. Few words can describe such a car better than 'awesome'.Estimate £18,000 - £ 22,000
