Lot 423: 1976 Crayford Puma 47.5cc Packaway Folding Motorcycle

Manufactured by the Di Blasi company in Italy and distributed in the UK by coachbuilt conversion specialists Crayford Engineering, of Westerham, Kent, the Puma was a small folding motorcycle powered by a 47.5cc two-stroke engine. A top speed of 25mph and fuel consumption of 150mpg were claimed for the �twist-�n-go� Puma, which weighed a mere 63lbs and when folded could be stowed in the boot of a car. Owned from new by its recently deceased owner and used only infrequently on short city trips, the machine was last MoT�d to June 2004. Offered for sale by his widow, it comes with its own carrying bag, sales brochure, operation/instruction manual, SORN and Swansea V5C registration document.
