Lot 03: Volkswagen SCIROCCO GT

Originally appearing in 1974, the Scirocco actually pre-dated its Golf sibling.� A stylish hatchback coup�, the Scirocco offered accommodation for four and utilised the Golf floorpan and power train.� The styling was most appealing being designed by Giugiaro and built by Karmann.� From 1982, the model was revised with its lines now being softened in keeping with prevailing trends.�First registered in June 1990, this example of the Scirocco GT is finished in grey and would appear to be in good all round order.� The recorded mileage currently stands at just over 38,000 and this would appear to be correct as a substantial amount of service history is provided.� Included with the documentation come a Swansea V5 and current MOT certificate valid until June 2008.
