Lot 103: Mercedes-Benz 300CE 34V
Classic, Historic and Thoroughbred Motor Cars, Barons (8 February 2011)
The W124 Mercedes CE Coupe and Convertible were among the most successful, saloon- based, coupes that MB had built to that date. The convertible offered something that few others did, in that it was a full four- seat convertible. Ally this to Mercedes quality and they had an instant classic on their hands. Offered here is a range-topping 300CE Coupe, which has the 3.0 litre, 24 valve engine. The car is equipped with the 5 speed auto transmission, cream leather, power widows, flat face alloys etc and has just benefited from new brake discs and pads plus new distributor cap and rotor arm. Finished in blue and in sound, usable condition, the car has an MoT through to February 2012
