The TF was the final incarnation of the Midget based cars, which could trace their ancestry back to the very beginning of MG Garages in the early thirties. The design changes, incorporated into the TF, were driven by the American market, which was, by far, the largest market for these cars.The TF sported a lower bonnet line, sloping grill and fuel tank plus headlamp pods now faired into the wings. With just 6200 examples built compared to 30,000 TD's and 10,000 TC's, the TF1250 comes second to the 3400 TF1500's, which was replaced by the MGA. The TF is the most highly valued of the T Series, especially when they are presented in outstanding condition.Offered here is a simply stunning 1954 TF, which has been the subject of a nut & bolt restoration and rhd conversion. Imported from the USA to Scotland in the late 1990's, the car was then subjected to the comprehensive rebuild, conversion and restoration.
