Lot 213: Jaguar XK150 FHC FIA Prepared
Jaguar Heritage and Classic Cars, Barons (1st May 2007)
This beautiful car started life in California, from where it was 'liberated' in a virtually rust free condition, with low mileage and in running order, complete with its original engine and wheels. The current owner decided to have the car totally restored by AJC Classics, with no expense spared, and prepare the car to the latest FIA/HTP requirements for Historic racing. The original engine is in storage and available, whilst the current 'fresh' engine took this car to a Top Hat class win last year at Spa. It has had very little use since restoration and is for sale due to a change of plans by the owner. This car is eligible for all the top Historic events including Masters Gentleman Drivers Series, Top Hat, XK Series etc. Alternatively, all the original trim is available for this car, to convert the interior back to standard. A detailed list of the works carried out is available with the history file. See below 1. Built from a American registered Dry State XK 150 originally in black 2. All original panels, except under front wing panels, and for installation of triple carburettors 3. New lower 'B' posts. 4. Chassis shot blasted & strengthened where necessary and seam welded.
