Lot 086: 1968 ASTON MARTIN DBS VANTAGE

Offered here is a Buckinghamshire-built DBS Vantage, a right-hand drive car in red with cream leather interior, which first took to the road at the end of September 1968 and carries WYF 349G registration. Although very little information was available to us when this late entry was made, the vendor claims that the fixed head bodywork is in sound condition and is reasonably complete apart from engine and gearbox, though we understand that Jaguar-made 4.2-litre engine and gearbox are included. To reflect both this non-factory specification as well as the condition and the amount of work to do, however, the project has been sensible guide-priced.
