Lot 318: VW BEETLE
Auction of classic cars, ECA Classic Auctions (4th June 2006)
The present owner describes the vehicle as being a rust free example of an early CAL lookalike Beetle. A lot of work has been carried out, including a respray, re-trim, full sun-roof, chrome wheels and is fitted with a 1600 cc twin port engine. The coachwork is finished in yellow rhubarb & custard. A small amount of work is required to finish this project to make it a fine example of a very popular vehicle. Locally owned
