Lot 01: Sunbeam Talbot 90
Classics Cars, Charterhouse (15 July 2012)
The Sunbeam Talbot 90 was launched in 1948 and remained in production until 1954, when it was replaced by the Sunbeam MKIII, which in essence was the same vehicle but the Talbot name was dropped from the product range. It was available in standard four door saloon, or a very stylish two door drop head coupé. Available initially with a 1944 cc side valve engine. The engine would subsequently be increased in capacity to 2267 cc from 1950. This particular MKII saloon has been dry stored since its last MOT in 2009. It will require the usual safety checks and recommissioning before once again taking to the road, and it is only for sale due to a lack of use by the current owner. V5C, no current MOT or tax
