Lot 1335: Greeves 24TAS Scottish
Another nicely restored machine that, according to a letter from the Greeves Riders Association, was despatched from the factory on 26th February 1959 to dealer W R Evans of Oswestry, the original engine number was recorded as 863B/152. A display card for the bike, when it was shown at the Greeves Riders 50th Anniversary Event at Battlebridge, records that David purchased the bike in 1997 as a rough runner and constructed the entire exhaust system from scratch himself. The file accompanying the bike contains drawings for the exhaust system along with an old style V5 document, photos and correspondence. Finished in Moorland blue with Renthal bars this is a fine example of the marque.
