Lot 1345: BSA Golden Flash

Vintage Sale, Cheffins (19 October 2013)

In the current ownership since 2007 the Flash was purchased from a friend who had been a long term owner of the bike, the vendor states that it was a bit of a 'recaptured youth' purchase. Starting easily from cold on inspection the engine appeared free from any worrying noises and was smoke free with that distinctive BSA roar, a chipped fin on the barrel was noted and the vendor stated that he was not aware of any other faults. The paintwork is definitely of the homegrown variety and there is clearly scope for further cosmetic enhancement in that department, the rest of the machine is very presentable indeed and is offered for sale with an old MOT (July 2012), SORN and V5C.
