Lot 1346: Ducati Monza
This stylish silver Ducati was an expensive and exclusive prospect in its day but always capable of giving larger capacity opposition a bit of a scare on the speed and handling front. Starting readily on inspection the noise emanating from the ironically named Silentium silencer sounded rather manlier than its lowly 160cc may have suggested. Owned since 2001 this is a well sorted and cared for example that has been nicely restored by its enthusiast custodian. The crop of MOT's go back to 2003 when the mileage was 1 mile, now, at the time of cataloguing, 1,039 due to it only being used for club runs, a copy workshop manual is also supplied together with old tax discs and V5 documentation.
