The Allan Taylor Engineering and Manufacturing Company was based in Wandsworth, South London and converted Ford Model Y's into vehicles designed to be used for towing implements or carrying tools and equipment for racecourses, sporting venues, golf courses, aerodromes and municipal parks, they could also pull gang mowers at a claimed 4.5 acres an hour. This 1936 Coronation Model is based on the 8hp Model Y chassis and has been fully restored, fitted with an oak tipping body and swinging tailgate the vendor states that it starts on the button and drives well through the 3 forward and one reverse gears, the tipping body works well although a bit of exercise is required, an uncommon vehicle that would grace any collection and can be put to work around the estate. Offered for sale with tipper body crank handle and a qty of literature on the marque.
