Volvo Owners Club Limited

The Volvo Owners Club Ltd is an entirely independent organisation set up in the UK in 1962. It maintains good relations with Volvo themselves, but is not affiliated to them in any way. The Club is a Limited Company and is non profit making.

The Club Officials are all volunteers and dedicate their time to the running of the Club because of their interest and enthusiasm in the Volvo motor car. Most have full time jobs. John Smith, the Membership Secretary, is a retired police officer and he undertakes the position because of his enthusiasm for the cars and the Club.

Club membership gives owners the chance to get even more enjoyment out of owning their Volvo no matter which model they currently choose to drive. The club runs a parts service that helps locate the hard-to-find parts for older cars, and generous discounts on new Volvo parts for the current range. The Club currently has around 5200 Members, and membership is open to owners of any model Volvo, old or new.

Four A4 size 50-page colour magazines, Volvo Driver, are sent to every member each year. The magazine is published for the club by a professional publishing company. Each magazine contains articles of interest, many written by members, news from Volvo, various club reports, and numerous adverts from organisations offering parts and services to members.
