Overview
The first model of the type Tipo 4C was a modern car with a 1847 cc four cylinder engine with an overhead camshaft. On the outside the 4C looked very much like an old-fashioned American car. In 1922, the second model appeared, the 4CS, with a heavier 1981 cc engine, delivering 48 bhp. The American industry was flooding Europe with inexpensive, big cars and when the Wall Street crises also became noticeable in Italy, sales dropped even further. The management in Genua decided to close the car factory.
