Overview
Ghia is better known for car bodies than its cars. The company was founded in Turin by Giacinto Ghia in 1915. Ghia built special bodies on the chassis and running gear of Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo. The company gained world fame after World War II by creating the "dream" concept cars for Chrysler but the Italian company wanted higher things by building cars bearing the Ghia name.
